Best OBS Encoder for High-Quality 1080p60 Streaming + Recording (Xeon E5-2670v3 + RX 6600)

Hi all,
I want to stream and record at the same time Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox, and Rocket League at 1080p60 on a Xeon E5-2670v3 with an RX 6600. My priority is maximum stream quality while keeping good FPS in-game.

Would x264 or AMD H.264 be better for this setup when streaming and recording simultaneously? Any advice on settings or trade-offs to get the best balance between visual quality and performance?

Is there an encoder in that RX? If memory serves me well, the answer is no.

Test, I suspect you'll like the quality of x264 over the GPU encoder.

You can send a real high quality stream & also send it to disc if you like. So there's only a single encoding running.

I'm currently using x264, for some reason amd h264 It's very bad for me.

Best quality of the 2. If you notice any encoding lag in the OBS stats, use a faster Preset. I would stick with x264 if there's no lag. Let the GPU do just the rendering.
