Hi, I'm having an issue with my Live Gamer HD card in where its no longer broadcasting sound. Everything worked fine up until yesterday.

Here is a screenshot of my settings that I have: http://gyazo.com/356eda21034064f6cbcf74ca09cde767

Just to note, I am using the latest version(0.47A) and have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Live Gamer HD and uninstalling/reinstalling OBS

It'd be great if anyone could help with this issue.

if youre doing it that way to capture pc gameplay, ive noticed myself u wont have sound like that...have to use software capture or game capture to get sound....supposedly the audio cable into the lg hd is to make it capture sound for the stream like that but it dont work like that for me either.

idk if its something to do with the video not passing sound thru hdmi or what, but for some reason i dont get sound on pc streams with that card either unless i use software or game capture, altho it works fine capturing from the device while streaming xbox.

I can't actually find any detailed info about the sound support for the AVermedia Live Gamer HD, but make sure that you're not trying to capture surround sound of some sort, as most capture cards only support stereo sound, and will either produce silence or horrifying static noise when fed with surround sound.

I just tested my C985 and it's working fine on my end.

I did all the testing of device code based upon the c985, so if any device should work, it would be this one. If you're using the 3.5mm jack, then that unfortunately does -not- currently work. HDMI however works fine. Requires annoying special code for the different jacks. You'll have to plug that 3.5mm into the sound card or something instead.

What's really weird is that using the 3.5mm jack input seem like it was working before, or at least I thought it was. My setup was and has always been the same in where I connect my xbox to the card and the card to a monitor with a dvi input. Since sound is lost over DVI, I had to use an Xbox AV cable to connect to a 3.5mm to go into the c985. :-/
